Eagle Springs Cub Scouts need your help!

Eagle Springs Cub Scout Packs 926 and 912 need your help - and so do thousands of hungry people in our community. Our local Scouts are participating in the annual Scouting for Food drive this winter. The 2012 food drive will take place on Saturday, February 4. Our Scouts are asking you to place donations on your front doorstep before 9am on Saturday, February 4. Our Scouts will come and pick up your donations between 9am and 11am and bring them to our central collection area at the Eagle Springs Visitor's Center Parking Lot - map.

This year the Scouts hope to match or better the success of last year’s food drive. This year the food pantries are looking for protein food such as canned tuna, peanut butter, or canned ravioli.Your help is desperately needed. Please make plans to place your donated food items at your front door before 9am on Saturday, February 4 for collection by our Scouts.Visit www.houstonfoodbank.org to learn more about hunger in our area.
