Eagle Springs sales increase 59% in 2011

New-home sales in Eagle Springs increased a whopping 59% in 2011, with 234 homes sold last year compared to the 147 sold in 2010.

Eagle Springs’ strong performance made it the top-selling community in the Humble/Northeast Houston market in 2011. The 1,361-acre community was also one of the top 50 master-planned communities in the United States for 2011, according to a report from RCLCO, a national real estate advisory firm.

Eagle Springs ranked 25th nationally in the RCLCO study, and was one of only two Humble area communities to make the national top 50. The only other Humble development included was Eagle Springs’ sister community of Summerwood. Both are developments of Newland Communities.

Increased new-home variety and major developments such as the completion of the Sam Houston Tollway Northeast and the expansion of Will Clayton Parkway, helped draw more homebuyers to Eagle Springs in 2011, said Kayla Webb, marketing director for Newland Communities.

Eagle Springs expanded its lineup of new homes by adding builders including Westin Homes and M/I Homes, with more new builders, products and price ranges to come in 2012.

Overall, Eagle Springs offers new homes priced from the $140,000s to $500,000s by Beazer Homes, Chesmar Homes, D.R. Horton, Highland Homes, Lennar, M/I Homes, Ryland Homes, Village Builders and Westin Homes.
